Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about GLP-1 weight loss with RenewlyRX: how it works, what to expect, pricing, shipping, and clinical support. Your treating clinician has the final word on what’s right for you.
General questions
With GLP-1–based therapy, many patients achieve meaningful weight loss over time; results vary by individual. Even a modest reduction (for example, around 5% of body weight) can support improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol, and other weight-related conditions. RenewlyRX combines physician-guided medication with healthy eating, movement, and lifestyle habits to support your goals. Your clinician will set expectations based on your health profile.
RenewlyRX is designed as a simple, three-step path:
- Complete a secure medical questionnaire.
- Connect with a physician licensed in your state through our telehealth platform (often asynchronous messaging; synchronous visits may be required in some states).
- If approved, your medication is prepared by a U.S. pharmacy partner and shipped to your door.
We focus on clear communication and follow-up so your care stays aligned with your progress.
Weight loss is personal. RenewlyRX combines licensed medical oversight with a straightforward online experience so more people can access evidence-based GLP-1 therapy when it’s appropriate. If you’re unsure, start with the health questionnaire—a physician will review your history and let you know whether treatment is a good fit.
Our programs center on compounded GLP-1 injectable therapy and GLP-1/GIP options for eligible adults, as determined by your prescribing clinician. These classes of medication help regulate appetite and satiety; your provider will recommend an option suited to your health and goals. See treatments and pricing for what we offer today.
Everyone responds differently. Some people notice changes within the first few weeks; your clinician may recommend evaluating progress over several months as dosing is adjusted. Stay in touch through the patient portal if you have questions or side effects.
RenewlyRX offers telehealth weight loss care in most U.S. states. Availability depends on physician licensing and regulations, which can change. If you’re unsure about your state, email [email protected] and we’ll confirm whether we can serve you.
We publish bundled pricing up front so you know what’s included before you pay—typically physician review, medication, and standard shipping in one transparent package. Visit our weight loss plans for current options.
After you complete checkout and your intake, a clinician usually reviews your chart within about 24–48 hours. Pharmacy preparation plus shipping is often in the range of 7–10 business days total, though timing can vary by demand and location. We’ll keep you updated by email, including tracking when your order ships.
For subscriptions or future shipments that have not yet been prepared, email [email protected] with “Cancel my account” in the subject line, or reach out through Contact us. Once an order has shipped, cancellation may apply only to future cycles. Prescription timing also matters—see our shipping, cancellation & return policy for details.
RenewlyRX does not bill insurance for these programs. Our pricing is structured to be straightforward and self-pay. If you have questions about affordability, contact us—we’re happy to walk through your options.
Medication questions
GLP-1 medications are often well tolerated, but common side effects can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort. Less common but serious risks exist (for example pancreatitis or gallbladder disease). Your provider monitors your safety and will adjust dosing as needed. Please read our consent to telehealth and FDA & medical disclaimer for a fuller discussion of risks and benefits.
Obesity is often a chronic condition; some patients benefit from longer-term therapy, while others taper with medical guidance. The right duration is individual. As you approach your goals, your RenewlyRX-affiliated provider can discuss maintenance or discontinuation and how to taper safely if you decide to stop.
Your health and safety come first. If a clinician determines that GLP-1 therapy isn’t appropriate for you based on your history or exam, you won’t be charged for medication you don’t receive (subject to the terms at checkout). We’ll explain next steps and alternatives where we can.
Provider questions
After you submit your intake, a licensed provider reviews your information through our secure telehealth workflow. You’ll typically hear back within about 24 hours (often sooner). Ongoing messaging and follow-up are available through your patient portal for as long as you’re an active patient.
Providers are assigned based on state licensure and availability. If you’re not comfortable with your assigned clinician, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate a change.
You’ll always be matched with a clinician licensed in the state where you’re located, in line with telehealth rules. For where RenewlyRX currently operates, see the general question on state availability above or email [email protected].
